Went with some good friends to a concert in St. Louis.

The National opened and they were very good, and then Arcade Fire.

By far, this is one of the best concerts I've been to, defiantly top 5.

After dropping my brother, Andy off at the bar tonight, I decided to head up to Lincoln Park for my picture tonight, originally I was probably going to take a picture of ol' Abraham Lincoln, but as soon as I walked in and decided to take this instead...I thought the purple color looked nice against the black sky.

April 11, 2011

In 1963, one of my Mother's childhood friends traveled to Florida on a family vacation and brought back this little gem for my mom...

This at one point used to be a little crocodile, and then it was stuffed...to sell to tourists.

Weird.

April 10, 2011

Forest is too high class of a cat to ever drink out of a bowl...

April 6, 2011

If there is one thing to know about my cat Forest, it is that he is a champ when it comes to sleeping.

Day, night, afternoon, evening, it doesn't matter when, he can nap with the best of him.

It must be hard to live his life :)

April 5, 2011

Today I accompanied the Strange family to Evansville, Indiana, here we conquered Chucky E. Cheese.

April 2, 2011

Today my mom came home from the Ramsey Sale, which for those of you who don't know what it is, its a small town outside of Van and every year they get together and sell their stuff....my mom worked selling stuff for Catholic Charities and brought me home something awesome.

It is the first edition of my favorite book, East of Eden by John Stienbeck.

This is one of my favorite quotes from the book....
"And this I believe: that the free, exploring mind of the individual human is the most valuable thing in the world. And this I would fight for: the freedom of the mind to take any direction it wishes, undirected. And this I must fight against: any idea, religion, or government which limits or destroys the individual. This is what I am and what I am about."
